This is a poem that I've had for some time. I think the best way to enjoy the imagery is to read it aloud to yourself.Have fun .

Wolf?s Blood
Panting breaths are dashing through my woods,
I?m running faster, I?ll catch up to her.
Brother?s howling, sister?s prowling.
Our human skins, tossed aside for war.
I saw her first, she fell,
I knew she feared, it was in her smell.
I can taste her flesh,
Ripe and fresh.
One quick pull and I?ve snapped her neck,
I don?t want to share this one.
Sniffed then looked both ways and leapt,
Across the brook and through the trees.
Her mouth, it bled.
It bled for me.
Almost there, I can see the cave,
I can hardly wait; it?s flesh I crave.
One more dash and now I?m in.
I toss her down and then begin.
I pull a clawed finger gently across her face.
How easily it tears her flesh.
So pink and frail, this one?s young,
Her flesh is soft, and rolls off my tongue.
Reach around her back and push claws through,
From the front, blood and juices spew.
How I love to feed, on this tender one,
Were she not dead,
I could have had some fun.
Down to the bone, her blood is sweet,
Soft, and wet, girl meat.
This one should?ve never left her car,
And came into my woods this far.
Her mistake, and her lost life,
I?ll kiss the blood from her mouth,
Then leave the rest for my kindred whelps.
Fur matted with blood,
Teeth gleaming in the moonlight.
Time to run , time to take flight.
The others are approaching now,
Must leave quick,
I can hear an angry howl.
Fleet of foot I leave,
Running swiftly downwind,
Don?t leave a scent on the breeze.
They?re angry now, they howl like beasts.
Not enough left for their midnight feast.
I?d do it again, take that girl again,
So soft and so tender.
A taste of pure, not touched by men.
They?re getting close, I run on all fours.
From the trees my sisters come,
A bite on the leg, and tendons tear.
I fall and roll.
The packs all there.
Gnashing teeth and brandishing claws.
A thousand heads with thrashing jaws.
My skin is ripping,
Being rendered and drawn.
One more squirm of pain,
One more beastly breath.
I do it again.
For such tender flesh.
The ground soaks up one more blood feast,
My blood,
Wolf?s Blood.
